Dear Parents/Guardians,

Readathon: Thanks to our PTSA's effort, our Readathon is live! More than 140 students have already registered, and together they’ve logged over 10,000 reading minutes. Our Phoenix has reached its first stop: New York!

Please encourage your child to keep reading and remember to log their minutes in PledgeStar. Reading in any language counts, including independent reading, audiobooks, and reading with a family member.

The Readathon also helps raise funds for field trips and other PTSA programs and activities. Families are encouraged to share their PledgeStar page with relatives and friends who may want to support Jing Mei.

Curriculum Night 10/6

Curriculum Night is designed for parents and caregivers so adults can focus on learning about classroom expectations, curriculum, and ways to support student success.

Really Need childcare?

We will have volunteers available to supervise current Jing Mei students in grades K-5 in the Resource Room. If you need childcare, please complete the registration form by October 4.

Too Sick for School

As we enter cold and flu season, please review BSD's Too Sick for School guidelines before deciding whether to keep your child home.

Walk & Roll to School Week: October 5-9

- National Walk & Roll to School Day: October 7 Join us by walking, biking, or rolling to school! During Walk & Roll to School Week, SchoolPool will provide students with reflective/ light-up keychains and wristbands and transportation BINGO cards.

课程之夜是 10/06/2026

。为了让家长能够专注参与活动与交流，课程之夜通常以成人参加为主。

如您真的急需学生托管服务，我们将在 Resource Room 提供志愿者协助照看学生。托管服务仅限 景美小学（Jing Mei）K-5年级在校学生。如需托管服务，请于 10月4日前填写报名表。

因病不宜上学

随着感冒和流感高发季的到来，在决定是否让孩子留在家中之前，请查阅 BSD 关于“因病不宜上学”的指导方针。

“步行与骑行上学周”：10月5日至9日

- 全国“步行与骑行上学日”：10月7日欢迎加入我们，选择步行、骑行或滑行（如滑板车等）的方式上学！在“步行与骑行上学周”期间，SchoolPool 将为学生提供反光/发光钥匙扣、腕带以及“交通出行宾果游戏卡”（Transportation BINGO cards）。
