Dear Parents/Guardians,

Thank you for all the supports you have given so far to help kick off the year smoothly so far! We welcome back more than 430 students this week and more to come next week! In total, we have about 620 students at Jing Mei this year!

Here are some reminders/announcement for this week:

1. Thank you for your patience at dismissal. Thank you for using drive-through lane (the lane closer to the school) as drive-through not doing loading or unloading your child to keep the lane goes faster. Please continue to bring your paper with Grade level, teacher last name and your student name to let our dismissal team to have your student ready before your car arrive at the front entrance.
2. We have K and preK coming next week. Please consider to park at central office next to our bus loop area. More parking: https://youtu.be/WlX_mSrk5m4

3. We need volunteers:
   • All volunteers need to do a background check. The background check expires every 3 years: https://app.sterlingvolunteers.com/en/Candidates/Account/Register
   • Volunteer Training is 9/9 2-2:45pm. Please join us at Jing Mei for a quick parking lot patrol, lunch, or recess support training so you are aware of our parking lot, recess rules and/or how to support our lunch.
   • Volunteer Sign up link will be sent by Ms. Naomi next week.

1. 感谢您在放学时的耐心等待。感谢您使用得来速车道（靠近学校的车道）保持耐心等待，让车道速度更快。请您继续用白纸写上孩子名字还有年级和老师名字放在挡风玻璃让我们看到以便提早让孩子准备上车。

3. 我们需要志愿者：
   • 志愿者报名链接将于下周由Naomi老师发送。
   • 志愿者培训时间为9月9日下午2点至2：45。欢迎加入我们景美小学的志愿者培训，参加停车场义工、午餐义工或课间义工的培训，以便了解我们义工操作如何更好进行。
