We had joined the WA Great Shake Out Earthquake Drill on Thursday 10/16/2025. If you would like to learn about Earthquake preparation and drill resources, here is the link:

Reminder about cellphone and smartphone for students:

Our school policy is not to use smartwatches and phone during school time. If students are too distracted by the devices, we will need to ask them to put it away in their backpack or staff will keep those in the office until the end of the school day. Please remind your students about this expectation at home as well.

Assembly:

You are invited to join our November Veterans Day Assembly on Tuesday, November 18th from 2:40-3:20. Please let us know if you or someone in your family is a Veteran and will attend the Veteran's Day Assembly.  You also have the option of not attending but sending photos for us to share in the presentation.

Reflections is a nationwide art competition hosted by the PTSA. Each year, over 300,000 students in Pre-K through Grade 12 create original works of art in response to a student-selected theme. This 50+ year-old program helps them explore their own thoughts, feelings and ideas, develop artistic literacy, increase confidence and find a love for learning that will help them become more successful in school and in life.

All participants receive a ribbon! Participants that represent Jing Mei receive a personalized trophy!

手机和智能手表提醒：

学生在学校期间是不可以使用手机和智能手表的。如果学生在上课的时候一直被电子产品干扰影响学习的话，我们会让学生把电子产品放进去书包或者给老师保管，等下课以后再用。请家长在家里配合叮嘱学生。感谢你们的支持。
