JM: Family Newsletter 11.11, 2024 景美家长简报 2024年11月11日

Dear Jing Mei Phoenix Families,

As we move further into the school year, we want to acknowledge the challenges we've faced in October and now, including managing behavioral incidents and navigating health concerns such as head lice and an uptick in cold and flu cases. We are grateful for your support during these busy initial months. We've also embarked on beginning-of-the-year assessments, implement new English curriculum with ongoing training, and celebrated community spirit through events like Spirit Week, PTSA Fall festival, and our first walkathon. These activities are crucial in fostering a sense of belonging and enthusiasm among our students.

Now, as we enter Parent Teacher Conference month, we look forward to working collaboratively to further support our students. Thank you for being such an integral part of our school community.

• 11/3 noon-2pm PTSA Fall Festival- Truck or Treat 景美秋节会-在停车场举行(Noon-1pm: 3-5th grade; 1-2pm for Prek, K, 1, 2nd Grade.)
• 11/11 No school, Observe Veterans Day 军人节，学生不上课
• 11/14 2:40-2:20 Monthly Virtue: Inclusion and Veterans Day Assembly 每月美德和退伍军人节全校集会
• 11/25, 11/26, 12/04 Parent Teacher Conference- Students follow Wednesday schedule- early release at 1:10 (Please make sure you have half day pick-up plans for these days.) 家长会，学生上课时间遵循周三时间表，下午1：10放学，以便老师们开家长会
• November 25,26 BGC will follow the school's parent teacher conference schedule so we will start at 1:10 pm
