Dear Parents and Families,

Due to the emergency school closure from 11/20 to 11/22, the district's calendar has been updated. Last day of school will be on 6/23 with two hours of instruction from 9-11 am. See details here: https://www.bsd405.org/about-us/news/news-details/~board/calendars/post/2024-2025-imporitant-dates>  

For next week, we will be offering another session of volunteer training, feel free to join online or in person.

All volunteers must complete a background check every third year (Procedure 5630P Volunteers). Here is the link you can do the background check: https://app.sterlingvolunteers.com/en/Candidates/Account/Register

Each year the choice school enrollment for kindergarten will start in December. This year the enrollment for Kindergarten is 12/9 to 1/17. For Prek new students, the application opens on 2/1 and returning students can apply one week before other new preschool students. If you know any families who would like to join our info session for K and Prek, please feel free to forward.

12/16 Jing Mei Incoming Preschool and Kindergarten Info Session at Jing Mei Cafeteria 5:30-6:30 pm (Please help spread the words to any families in your network that who might be interested in joining JM's preK and Kindergarten in 2025!)

• February 17 through 21: No school, Mid-Winter Break
• April 7 through 11: No school, Spring Break 
• May 26 (Monday): No school, Memorial Day observance, all district offices closed 
• June 19 (Thursday): Juneteenth observance, all district offices closed
• June 23 (Monday): Last day of school (last day of school is updated due to emergency school closures)
• June 24 Summer Break begins

12月23日-1月3日：学校放假，寒假

2025 年 1 月 17 日：Choice School 景美2024-2025幼儿园新学年申请截止

1 月 20 日-星期一：学校放假，马丁路德金纪念日，所有学区办公室关闭

2 月 17 日至21日：学校放假，Mid Winter Break

4 月 7 日至 11 日：停课、春假

5 月 26 日（星期一）：停课、阵亡将士纪念日、所有地区办公室关闭

6 月 19 日（星期四）：六月节庆祝活动，所有地区办公室关闭

6 月 23 日（星期一）：最后一天（由于紧急学校停课，最后一天上学期日更新了）

6 月 24 日 暑假开始
